When cash has become history and credit card is king

We’ll only have ourselves to blame, we’ll miss the old ker-ching

 

Big Brother will know everything, yes everything we buy

Will be analysed and catalogued, kiss privacy goodbye

 

Our freedom is the price we’ll pay ‘cos everywhere we go

Everything we buy or sell – those in power will know

 

Someone somewhere will benefit, it won’t be you or me

They’ll turn that power against us – we’re handing them the key

 

So next time you go shopping, don’t tap or use your phone

Insist on paying cash instead – reject the cash free zone!
