Vegan Sister
 
My sister has the sweetest soul, 
She’s gentle and she's kind
If you eat meat or dairy though
She's out to change your mind
 
She’s a fervent vegan Jedi
An animal defender
The subject sets her spirits high
A carnivore dissenter
 
She’s fighting for the animals
They haven’t got a voice
To her we are like cannibals
She says we have a choice
 
She’d love to have a chat with you
She wouldn’t take offence
She’ll softly make her point of view
To show that it makes sense
 
She campaigns to raise awareness
She wants to make us see
We can’t tuck into burgers
Without animal cruelty
 
Can you deny a sense of guilt?
Do you not feel compassion?
When all the blood that’s being spilt
To feed our daily ration
 
Deep down you know it’s wicked
I’m positive you do
Animals feel fear and pain
The same as me and you
 
It’s not too late to change our ways
I’m slowly changing mine
I haven’t eaten meat for years
One step at a time
 
Let’s think about the animals
Who haven’t got a voice
Be more civilised than cannibals
