I'm a 'lady of a certain age' who likes crafting light-hearted, rhyming poems about the amusing quirks of life and every day little annoyances that tickle my funny bone! Nestled in lovely Hertfordshire, I share my home with my husband and our two furry companions—Charley, the golden retriever, and Harry, the sassy cat. We are proud parents to three grown-up children and three adorable grandchildren.

 

My poetic journey began with "Litterbug," inspired by a walk in our beautiful countryside with Charley. If there's one thing that really gets my goat, it's litter! After sharing "Litterbug" with my local WhatsApp group and receiving such warm feedback from our neighbours, I was inspired to write even more!  I always take a bag with me now to pick up litter on my walks and have noticed other people doing the same - we shouldn't have to do it but it makes such a difference.
